  • Multiple Small Feedings of the Mind
    Three 90-minute webcasts, maximum of 1.5 credits per webcast.

    Expert faculty provide concise, evidence-based answers to common, yet difficult, patient management problems. Topics are selected for their relevance to clinical practice. Faculty are chosen for their skill in providing cogent, evidence-based answers to complex questions. Topics include: oncology, infectious diseases, hematology, gastroenterology, psychiatry, rheumatology, cardiology, endocrinology, and neurology.

  • Clinical Pearls
    Three 90-minute webcasts, maximum of 1.5 credits per webcast,

    Test your clinical acumen in these case-based sessions. Expert faculty present challenging patient management scenarios. Compare your critical thinking to that of your colleagues. As you work through the cases you will amass a rich collection of "pearls" that can be applied to patient care. Cases include topics in gastroenterology, dermatology, cardiology, palliative care, neurology, and women's health. 16 cases per webcast.

  • Updates
    Twelve webcasts, 60 to 90 minutes, maximum of 1 credit or 1.5 credits, respectively.

    Expert faculty review the year's most important published papers in internal medicine and the subspecialties. Discussion includes the significance of findings and application to patient care.

    The following updates are 60 minutes, maximum of 1 credit per webcast: hospital medicine, infectious diseases, nephrology, critical care medicine, endocrinology, pulmonary medicine, and rheumatology.

    The following updates are 90 minutes, maximum of 1.5 credits per webcast: cardiology, gastroenterology and hepatology, hematology and oncology, general internal medicine, and new medications.

Continuing Medical Education Credit

The American College of Physicians (ACP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.

The ACP designates each Multiple Small Feedings of the Mind Webcast, each Clinical Pearls Webcast and Updates in cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology and hepatology, hematology and oncology, general internal medicine, and new medications for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The ACP designates each Update in hospital medicine, infectious diseases, nephrology, critical care medicine, endocrinology, pulmonary medicine, and rheumatology for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

To claim CME credit participants will view the presentation and complete an evaluation questionnaire at the conclusion of the webcast.
